Ms. Caple has been a member of the Ascension Saint Agnes Foundation Board of Directors since 2016. She served on the board’s Executive Committee from 2016 to 2021, and was the Chair from 2020 to 2021. In tandem, Ms. Caple was a member of the hospital Board of Directors from 2020 to 2022, during which time she also joined the Ascension Saint Agnes Mission Committee – a group she continues to be actively part of, today.
Ms. Caple also currently serves as a board member for the Greater Chesapeake Foundation, the Horizon Day Camp, RCM&D, and the RCM&D Foundation. Over the years, she was also active with the CPCU Society (Mid-Atlantic Chesapeake Region) and the Maryland CPCU Society Chapter, in line with her career interests and focus. Ms. Caple serves as Corporate Vice President of Education and Outreach for RCM&D and oversees the firm’s Deering Institute, which provides training and resources to clients and internal staff focused on risk management, continuing education, and professional development. Additionally, she manages RCM&D’s Corporate Outreach Program, Community Connections, which aims to support nonprofits throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region.
Ms. Caple is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College and earned a National Safety Council Advanced Safety Certificate. She is certified as an accredited advisor in insurance, an associate in risk management, and a chartered property casualty underwriter.
